Preamble to the Constitution

1. WHAT ARE THE PURPOSES OF GOVERNMENT?
- They are all states in the preamble. Basically the who preamble is to state the purposes of government.
2. HOW DOES THE GOVERNMENT ESTABLISH JUSTICE AND INSURE DOMESTIC TRANQUILITY?
- Fair, unbiased, and logical for everone to have order and allow domestic peace.
3. WHAT IS A SOCIAL CONTRACT?

- An agreement on members of society to cooperate, Basically just allowing us to be governed.
4. HOW DOES THE GOVERNMENT PROVIDE FOR THE COMMON DEFENSE?
- Basic system of defence by providing the military.
5. HOW DOES THE GOVERNMENT PROMOTE GENERAL WELFARE?
- By providing public education, health and food standards, as well as consumer protection.
6. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A RIGHT AND ENTITLEMENT?
- Rights: Limits of governments power to protect an individual.
- Entitlement: Benefitd that the government has enacted for people of special requirements. 

7. HOW DOES THE GOVERNMENT SECURE THE BLESSINGS OF LIBERTY TO OURSELVES AND OUR POSTERITY?
- The government sets certain boundaries while the rest is up to Americans to set up that freedom.
8. WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF DEMOCRACY?
- A government by the people, A government in which supreme power is vested in the people.
9. WHAT IS THE PARADOX OF A DEMOCRACY?
- Potential for conflict between individual freedom and the majority rule.
10. HOW DO WE RESOLVE THE CONFLICT BETWEEN MAJORITY RULE AND INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY?
- Fair Trial
11. WHAT IS THE PRINCIPLE OF LIMITED GOVERNMENT THAT THE FOUNDERS SUP UP IN THE CONSTITUION AND THE BILL OF RIGHTS?
- Right to a free trial.
